Training in Kochi for seafarers working in the Gulf

Eurotech Maritime Academy has one campus, in Kizhakkambalam, Kochi, Kerala; no course is held in the Gulf. Seafarers working in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Doha, Dammam, Muscat and Kuwait City take their courses there, most often during home leave or between contracts.

Where training happens

Kakkattikara, Panchayath Road, Kizhakkambalam, Ernakulam, Kochi, Kerala 683562

The nearest airport is Cochin International Airport. Pre-sea candidates generally stay in the academy's hostel on campus, while those on shorter courses usually arrange a lodge in Kochi or Aluva.

Plan it around your leave

  1. Check which certificates expire before your next contract; refreshers renew most of them in a day.
  2. Pick a batch on the course page. Dates are fixed and published in advance, so they can be matched to your flights.
  3. Book and pay online before you fly; the booking confirmation comes by email.
  4. Bring your CDC, passport and certificates on the first day.

One-day refreshers

For renewing safety and medical certificates you already hold.
