Refresher – Personal Survival Techniques (R PST) fees

Course fee

For the whole course of 1 day, paid at booking.

The fee is the same for every candidate, from Kerala, the rest of India or abroad, and the course is held at the Kochi campus. Book a batch date on this page to hold a seat; the fee is paid online when you book.

Who takes this course

For serving seafarers whose Personal Survival Techniques certificate was issued within the last five years and is due, or approaching due, for renewal. Candidates must be medically fit as per DG Shipping standards.

After the course

Completion revalidates the seafarer's Personal Survival Techniques certificate for a further 5 years, keeping them eligible to sign on. It is commonly taken together with the academy's Refresher – Fire Prevention & Fire Fighting course at each renewal cycle.
