Getting here from Kozhikode
The campus is in Kizhakkambalam, in Ernakulam district. The nearest airport is Cochin International Airport and the nearest major railway stations are Ernakulam Town and Ernakulam Junction. Batch dates are fixed well ahead, so tell the admissions team you are travelling from Kozhikode and they will line the dates up with your journey.
Kozhikode is linked to Ernakulam by regular trains and buses along the coastal route, a journey of roughly four to five hours. Since courses run on fixed batch dates, most candidates travel down the day before to allow for any delay. Pre-sea students usually stay in the academy's campus hostel, while candidates on short courses often take a lodge in Kochi or Aluva for the duration.
For every course candidates from Kozhikode take, see maritime courses in Kozhikode.
