Summary
We are looking for a Mechanical Workshop Assistant to support practical training in the mechanical workshop at our Kochi campus. You will prepare tools and equipment, help instructors during practical sessions and keep the workshop safe, clean and in good working order.
What you’ll do
- Prepare tools, materials and equipment for practical sessions.
- Assist instructors during workshop training.
- Look after workshop machinery and carry out basic maintenance.
- Keep the inventory of tools and consumables up to date.
- Keep the workshop clean, well organised and safe.
- Report faults and damaged equipment promptly.

Education & experience
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (polytechnic)
Other
- Practical knowledge of fitting work, hand tools, measuring instruments and workshop machinery
- Able to assist instructors and students during practical sessions
- Able to commute to or relocate to Kochi
Good to have
- Experience working in a mechanical workshop
