Course Overview
The Personnel Safety & Social Responsibilities (PSSR) course is a fundamental training required for all seafarers before joining a vessel. It builds awareness of shipboard hazards, personal safety protocols, communication skills, and social responsibility onboard. The course also educates participants about emergency procedures, pollution prevention, and the importance of teamwork at sea.

Batch Strength Policy
As per D G Shipping Training Circular No 4 of 2028 MTI’s are directed not to conduct any batch, if the batch strength is less than 25% of the approved intake capacity granted by the Directorate.
